If the strikes on factories, refineries, ports and ships were starting to seem almost routine, then the sudden Ukrainian attacks on warehouses and e commerce infrastructure across Russia came as a bit of a surprise for some when they began last month.
Perhaps less surprising was the Russian response in kind, but as the headlines roll I think it’s important to look at this new stage of the long range strike campaign with a bit of perspective.
And so today, I talk through what the warehouse war seems to be, what it critically isn’t, and why Ukraine might have made the decision to add a new category of targets to its already extensive drone hit list.
