The overnight strikes targeted Wildberries facilities near St. Petersburg, marking the third attack on the retailer in a week

Three people have been injured after Ukrainian drones struck a logistics center operated by Russian online retailer Wildberries near St. Petersburg, Governor Aleksandr Drozdenko said on Friday.

According to the official, the strike sparked a fire at the warehouse in Novosaratovka, Leningrad Region. The injured were hospitalized in moderate condition.

Drozdenko said another drone hit a warehouse belonging to the Severnaya poultry farm in St. Petersburg’s Kirovsky District, causing part of the structure to collapse. No injuries were reported there. He added that 59 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the region overnight.

Wildberries is Russia’s largest online retailer. The latest incident marks the third attack on the company’s infrastructure in a week. On July 18, drones struck Wildberries warehouses in Elektrostal outside Moscow and Kotovsk in Tambov Region, killing eight night-shift workers and injuring more than 80 others.

On Wednesday, the company’s facilities in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk in Stavropol Region were also targeted. Both sites were evacuated and operations suspended. Regional officials said five people required medical assistance in Nevinnomyssk and ten in Krasnodar. Wildberries founder Tatyana Kim slammed Ukraine’s strikes on the retailer’s infrastructure as “an act of international terrorism.”

Earlier strikes also targeted Wildberries logistics centers in Shushary and Utkina Zavod near St. Petersburg, forcing the company to temporarily suspend operations.

Ukrainian officials claim that the Russian military uses the retailer’s distribution network to procure and transport dual-use electronics, sanctioned goods, and critical drone components. Moscow has dismissed the claims, with Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov calling them fake and accusing the Ukrainian military of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure.

“That’s not true,” he told reporters earlier this week, responding to a question about the company’s purported ties to the military. “The Kiev regime continues to strike civilian targets, this is the terrorist essence of the Kiev regime.”

Ukraine has sharply intensified its long-range drone campaign in recent weeks, targeting oil facilities, warehouses, residential buildings, and other infrastructure deep inside Russian territory as Ukrainian forces suffer battlefield setbacks.

Earlier this month, Russia announced the capture of the key Ukrainian stronghold of Konstantinovka in northwestern Donbass, opening the way toward the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, the last two major cities in the region still under Ukrainian control.

Earlier this week, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov said Russian forces launched an offensive toward Slavyansk and Kramatorsk and reached the outskirts of Nikolayevka, around 20 km from Slavyansk.

Moscow has described Kiev’s drone raids as terrorist attacks targeting civilians and says it has stepped up strikes on Ukraine’s military-industrial and logistical infrastructure in retaliation.
