Situation between the US & Iran is heating up.
Speaking at a joint news conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese at the White House, US President Joe Biden said: “My warning to the Ayatollah was that if they continue to move against those troops, we will respond. And he should be prepared.”
Antony Blinken told a UN security council session,
"The United States does not seek conflict with Iran. We do not want this war to widen. But if Iran or its proxies attack US personnel anywhere, make no mistake. We will defend our people — we will defend our security — swiftly and decisively,"
Iran’s foreign minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian warned that if Israel’s ongoing retaliation against doesn’t end then the "United States will not be spared from this fire."
An intervention from Iran is a concern and the U.S has deployed of USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group as well marines to the Middle East.
But a particular assets whose location is under wraps is most likely positioned in the region too – Ohio class Ballistic missile Submarine.
