The Israeli Air Force (IAF) recently carried out a comprehensive aerial refueling exercise, simulating long-range flight missions deep into enemy territory. The drill featured key aircraft from Israel’s fleet, including the “Adir” (F-35i), “Baz” (F-15), and the “Ram” (Boeing 707) refueling aircraft.
Conducted within Israeli airspace, the exercise was designed to replicate the challenges the IAF might face during extended missions far from home.
The IDF stated, "The exercise simulated long-range flight deep behind enemy lines, performing aerial refueling in short periods of time. Aerial refueling is an operational capability required by the combat force, enabling it to remain airborne for long periods of time."
