In an official statement, the British government revealed that, in response to Houthi forces deliberately targeting the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Diamond and US Navy vessels on January 9, coalition forces identified key facilities linked to these attacks. Following this identification, a well-coordinated strike was executed to diminish the capabilities of the Houthi forces.
According to the Houthis’ military spokesman., there were 72 strikes in all.
The UK said it sent four RAF Typhoons from Cyprus, carrying Paveway IV-guided bombs
The Houthi movement colloquially simply Houthis is an Islamist political and armed organization that emerged from the Yemeni governorate of Saada in the 1990s.
These militias, who have been engaged in nearly a decade-long conflict against the Saudi-backed government in Yemen, have received various weapons, including anti-ship cruise missiles and land attack weapons, from Iran.
In this video, Defense Updates analyzes why Houthis can do nothing against RAF Typhoons armed with Paveway IV-guided bombs?
