The U.S. is adding more muscle to its Middle East force as Israel’s Gaza operation attains a higher pitch.
In a rare disclosure, the US military announced that a guided missile submarine has arrived in the Middle East.
As per reports, the Pentagon deployed the nuclear-powered USS Florida attack submarine to the Persian Gulf region.
The timing is critical here.
While the relationship between the U.S. & Iran has deteriorated significantly in recent times, threats of possible intervention from Iran in Israel’s operation against Hamas, have prompted the U.S. to make this move.
