Israel’s Defense Ministry has confirmed a milestone in its missile defense modernization: a low-cost, high-power laser system designed to neutralize incoming threats has successfully completed testing and will be declared operational later this year. The system, known as Iron Beam 450, has been developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems in partnership with Elbit Systems.
