Ukraine wants Bakhmut back. It’s the least fortified sector of the Russian front, and it could boost Ukrainian morale after months of setbacks. Elite Assault Brigades pushed deep into the Southern flank of the Russian army, and are about to take control of the contested village of Klischiivka. The Ukrainian army if effectively rolling back months of Russian progress, and could soon prepare a siege of Bakhmut.
