In the last two days of July, Israel got some crucial successes.
The assassination of Hezbollah’s most senior military commander Fuad Shukr, and one of Hamas’s top leaders Ismail Haniyeh had put the focus on Israel’s ability to take out people who are deemed as threats.
While those operations were incredible, Israel has now pulled off something that is being termed the ‘Covert Operation of the Century’ by many.
Thousands of pagers used by Lebanon-based Hezbollah members have exploded, injuring and killing a significant number of active personnel.
Viewers may note that reports were indicating Israel had infiltrated Hezbollah’s communication networks and that the organization had switched to pagers and couriers after cell phones were banned.
