Eight people, including two children, were wounded in an attack on Krasnodar Region, officials said
A Ukrainian drone struck an apartment block in the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk during a large-scale attack on cities in southern Russia, which left eight civilians injured, officials said.
Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said air raid sirens rang in several coastal cities from Sunday through Monday, including the resort town of Sochi.
In Novorossiysk, a home to a commercial port and a naval base, two children and one adult were injured in a small house, while three others were injured in an attack on an apartment block. In a separate incident, two people were injured on a road between Novorossiysk and one of the villages.

Kondratyev said six apartment blocks and two individual houses were damaged, while drone fragments fell on several industrial sites.
The Russian Defense Ministry said 148 drones were intercepted in different regions on Sunday night.

On Friday, a Ukrainian drone sank the Russian grain ship Volgo-Balt 138 in the Sea of Azov, killing one person on board, a local official said.
