Washington thinks it has the right to kill, just as Western colonizers did, Abdul Majid Hakim Elahi has told RT India
The US is seeking to control the whole world to prevent the emergence of a multipolar order, the India representative of Iran’s supreme leader has told RT India’s Runjhun Sharma.
The world today is shifting from a US-dominated to a more multipolar order, Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi said in an exclusive interview.
Ilahi argued that the philosophy and reason for Washington to attack Iran, similarly as Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan, or even Venezuela were attacked, is to stop transformation of the global order, the arrival of multipolarity. But countries such as Russia, China, India and Iran are some of the of the powers whose rise will continue.
Iran’s good relationship with Russia with China irked many countries, he claimed.
Ilahi said some colonial era concepts exist even in this era. “The US and Israel think they have right to kill anyone, hijack any president, attack any neighbors. The other countries, they should obey them and they should be under their authority,” he said.
“We were on the table of negotiation. They left the table of negotiation. And I think this war is not a United States war with Iran. This war is not Israel’s war against Iran, but exactly this is private war,” Ilahi said. He charged that this is the war of “President Trump against Iran and the Prime Minister of Israel against Iran.”
Ilahi refuted the US claims about Iran’s nuclear program as a central justification for Washington’s military strikes.
“We declared honestly…that having nuclear weapons is forbidden in Iran. Even Ayatollah Khamenei issued statement and fatwa that having nuclear weapons is haram and is forbidden completely. We don’t want nuclear weapons,” he said.
Ilahi added that all of the country’s nuclear facilities were open for international inspection.
Speaking on Iran’s civilizational ties with India, the supreme leader’s representative said Tehran looks to expand and deepen ties with New Delhi.
