The Path Home organization provides free assistance to those looking to resettle, including legal support and employment

Aleksey Nechaev, head of the New People faction in the State Duma, has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board of the non-profit Path Home. The organization helps those seeking to relocate to Russia.

The organization provides free assistance, including legal support, help with housing, employment, and adaptation to the new social and cultural environment.

In his new role, Nechaev plans to focus on scaling up and improving resettlement programs, as well as establishing a support network for returning citizens under the implementation of President Vladimir Putin’s decree “On providing humanitarian support to individuals sharing traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.”

“Our compatriots should have the opportunity to return home and start a new life in safe and stable conditions. We will actively work on expanding the program and creating conditions for dignified adaptation,” Nechaev emphasized.

Path Home was founded last year as a volunteer project. Initially, the organization’s activities focused on providing information to those looking to resettle. According to the non-profit’s own description of its activities, anyone interested can receive comprehensive consultations on topics such as resettlement programs, legal issues, customs clearance and procedures, obtaining temporary or permanent residence permits, and document legalization.
