It is not hard to see that there are now two wars taking place in parallel: the direct one between Hamas and Israel, and the indirect one waged by Iran through its proxies like Houthi rebels and Hezbollah.
Iranian leaders have repeatedly threatened not only Israel but also the U.S.
It has warned that it could intervene and this has the potential to expand the conflict.
While the U.S. has positioned several key assets including USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to deter Iran, it also possesses an areal asset that could be enough to dissuade Tehran from intervening.
