An American made Ukrainian Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon has reportedly achieved the first confirmed air-to-air kill of a Russian Su-35 Flanker-E since the start of the conflict, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of Ukraine’s air campaign. The achievement was publicly acknowledged in late July 2026 by General Dan Caine, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, during testimony before the U.S. Senate.
