As the war in Ukraine enters its fifth year, the international community continues to seek a resolution to the conflict.
A series of peace talks conducted at the direction of Donald Trump have been inconclusive. Ceasefires have been both negotiated and breached. The present state of the fighting remains one of grinding attrition.
Despite claims of battlefield momentum in Ukraine, data shows that Russia is paying an extraordinary price for minimal gains and war economy is under mounting strain.
The question then becomes; how much longer will the Ukraine War continue? What are the theories of victory for Russia and Ukraine? And how close are they to achieving them?
