A new publicity drive across digital and print platforms celebrates historic Indo-Russian ties
RT India has unveiled a countrywide advertising campaign across out-of-home (OOH), digital, and print platforms ahead of the December launch of its English news channel in the South Asian country.
The campaign, celebrating the historic ties between Russia and India, is titled ‘A new voice from an old friend’.
The Moscow-based global TV news network’s new channel is envisaged to cater specifically to the Indian audience.
The rollout spans key business, cultural, and diplomatic areas in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai, as well as major airports and the print and online editions of leading newspapers.
The campaign across 65 prime locations and 190 digital screens and billboards reflects shared perspectives, milestones, and the long-standing spirit of friendship between the nations.

A symbolic image showcasing the camaraderie between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is slated to visit India in December, is a standout visual.
The RT campaign also includes a large-scale 5D OOH campaign in Delhi Airport, Noida, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, and immersive 5D creative executions on high-impact LED screens.
A special Indo-Russian installation on the Delhi Metro features a thematic display of its Yellow Line – from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram – covering 37 stations spanning 47km, touting RT’s cultural presence and public engagement.
A dedicated train themed on Russia-India friendship features eight coaches with eight stories, covering domains of cooperation from space and defense to culture and sports.
