For two days, the forum participants will discuss the impact of creative industries on the economy and society, as well as form new partnerships

On Wednesday, October 8, the International Conference on Creative Economy starts in St. Petersburg, organized by ASI and the Government of St. Petersburg. The co–organizers are the Roscongress Foundation, the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. The strategic partner is VEB.RF. The special partner is REC (VEB.RF Group). The platform will bring together 1.5 thousand representatives of creative industries from more than 30 BRICS, CIS, SCO countries, as well as the Middle East and North Africa.

For two days, the forum participants will discuss the impact of creative industries on the economy and society, as well as form new partnerships. Among the main topics of discussion are the issues of intellectual property protection, as well as the development of cities, the education system and international cooperation in the framework of the promotion of creative industries.

The business program of the conference includes about 50 events. They will be held in the format of an open dialogue, round tables, workshops and project presentations.
At the same time, the key event will be the joint plenary session “Creative Economy of Russia. Horizon 2050” within the framework of the International Conference on Creative Economy and the forum “Creative Code. Russia”.

The session will focus on how the creative industries are becoming a key resource for sustainable growth and a driver of new cooperation formats on the horizon until 2050. First of all, we will talk about the strategies that countries choose to develop this dynamic sector.

“The central theme will be the search for the most relevant forms of inter-country cooperation and the role of states in supporting the industry. Experts, business representatives and government authorities will also consider the issues of forming the most effective formats of interaction, regulatory regulation and creating conditions in which human capital becomes the main driver of economic growth,” the ASI press service said.
