Prof Hugh White is a fellow of the AIIA, one of Australia’s leading defence analysts, a sharp policy mind and strategic thinker. He has been an advisor to a former Prime Minister and former Defence Minister, Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence, the first Head of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, and now, author of the recent publication – Hard New World: Our Post American Future, where he poses the question – are we ready for our post-American future?
