For most of the war in Ukraine, Russia’s nearly irreplaceable inventory of strategic bombers have been mostly beyond Ukraine’s reach.
On 1 June, that changed. Small drones, launched from trucks, swarmed multiple Russian airbases and destroyed what appears to be a double digit percentage of Russia’s active bomber inventory.
