American airstrikes are taking their toll on Houthis. Several key personnel have been killed.
This includes Zain al-Abidin al-Muhturi, a senior internal security official, Abdulnaser al-Kamali, Head of Houthi intelligence and Najib Kashri, Commander of the al-Tuhayta Axi.
Apart from these, on March 20, the Houthis held funerals for 16 mid-ranking officers, including Colonel Zein Al-Abidin Al-Mohatwari and Major Ali Al-Habari.
But the situation could get even more dire for Houthis.
Reports indicates United States shifted A-10 Thunderbolt II —commonly known as "Warthogs"—to the region.
These aircraft, along with over 300 airmen from the Idaho Air National Guard’s 124th Fighter Wing, have been sent to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility on March 29.
