The NSA is looking to take action against employees who abused its messaging system, according to a spokesperson

The National Security Agency (NSA) has reportedly launched an investigation into employees who allegedly used government-operated chat rooms to discuss personal topics, including kinks, sex changes, and fetishes during work hours, according to the City Journal. The outlet cited an agency spokesperson as vowing that those found to have misused the system will face consequences.

The City Journal reported on Monday that it had obtained chat logs from the NSA’s Intelink messaging platform – intended for official use – which showed that employees from agencies including the NSA, CIA, and DIA had engaged in discussions about gender reassignment surgeries, polyamory, castration, piss fetishes, gangbangs and other personal matters. The logs were reportedly provided by a current and a former NSA employee.

The chat discussions reportedly took place in two channels designated for LGBTQ+ and pride-related topics. While these spaces were initially created for diversity-related conversations, some employees allegedly used them to discuss personal matters during work hours.

The NSA maintains a chat system for the “intelligence community” called Intelink. The servers are supposed to be used for government work, but gender activists have hijacked at least two channels—LBTQA and IC_Pride_TWG—to discuss fetishes, kink, and sex, all legitimized as “DEI.” pic.twitter.com/5Ramc5fb1L

The authors of the report, Christopher Rufo and Hannah Grossman, argued that gender activists at the NSA took over LGBTQ+ employee resource groups in order to “turn their kinks and pathologies into official work duties,” noting that many of the discussions occurred during work hours paid for by US taxpayers.

In response to the allegations, an NSA spokesperson has confirmed to City Journal that the agency is reviewing the situation. “All NSA employees sign agreements stating that publishing non-mission related material on Intelink is a usage violation and will result in disciplinary action,” the spokesperson explained, stressing that “employees who violate agency policies will be held accountable.”

The NSA has not disclosed how many employees may be affected or what disciplinary measures might be taken.

Trump fires top general who supported Black Lives Matter

Trump’s new Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, has responded to the report by calling such behavior by US intelligence workers “unacceptable” and pledged that all those involved will be held accountable.

“These disgusting chat groups were immediately shut down when [US President Donald Trump] issued his [executive order] ending the DEI insanity the Biden Admin was obsessed with. Our [intelligence community] must be focused on our core mission: ensuring the safety, security, and freedom of the American people,” Gabbard wrote on X.

Following his inauguration last month, Trump signed a number of executive orders rolling back protections for transgender rights and various Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives introduced under former US President Joe Biden. He also ordered the elimination of “radical gender ideology” from the US armed forces, stipulating that only those who are mentally and physically fit should be allowed to serve.
