Ashley St. Clair has announced that she and the billionaire have a five-month-old baby, requesting privacy amid media interest
Conservative author Ashley St. Clair has claimed that tech entrepreneur Elon Musk is the father of her five-month-old child. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, who has 12 children from previous relationships, has not publicly responded to the claims.
In her post on X on Friday, St. Clair explained that she had kept the birth private to protect their child’s safety, but decided to disclose the information due to impending tabloid reports. She requested that the media respect their child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting.
There is no publicly available information detailing how Musk and St. Clair met. They have engaged in public exchanges on X. In November 2023, St. Clair shared on X that she had stopped using birth control to improve her mental health, to which Musk responded, “for sure.”
Last July, Musk wished her a happy birthday, and she responded with heart emojis. In return, he shared a long list of book recommendations and told her, “this is the absolute best time in history to have kids!”
St. Clair, 26, is known for her conservative children’s book “Elephants Are Not Birds,” which challenges concepts of gender identity and is an “unapologetic rebuke of transgender acceptance.” She has collaborated with The Babylon Bee, a right-wing satirical news website that publishes parody articles on politics and culture.
She has made multiple appearances on Fox News, podcasts, and web shows, discussing topics such as declining birth rates in wealthy countries.
Musk’s family includes six children with his first wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson: twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. Their first child, Nevada, tragically passed away when he was 10 weeks old.
In addition, Musk has three children with musician Claire Boucher, aka Grimes: sons X Æ A-Xii and Techno Mechanicus, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl.
He also shares twins Strider and Azure with Neuralink brain chip firm executive Shivon Zilis. The twins were born just weeks before Musk’s second child with Boucher was delivered via surrogate. Last June, Bloomberg reported that Zilis had welcomed their third baby.
Musk has previously expressed concerns about declining birth rates and has advocated for larger families.
Musk described the declining birth rate as “the biggest threat faced by humanity.”
