An F-35A Fighter Jet of the U.S. Air Force’s 354th Fighter Wing, stationed at Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska has crashed near the base’s runway. The pilot safely ejected and reportedly didn’t suffer any major injury. F-35A is the CTOL or Conventional Takeoff and Landing variant.
The approximate price of each of this fighter is around $82 million.
