A firefighting train has been dispatched to the port of Kavkaz in Krasnodar Region to extinguish the burning tanks following Kiev’s missile strike, local officials report

Kiev’s forces attacked a railway ferry at the port of Kavkaz in Russia’s Krasnodar Region on Thursday, RIA Novosti news outlet has said, citing local emergency services. The missile strike is said to have sparked a massive fire and a special firefighting train has reportedly been dispatched to the scene.

So far there have been no reports of casualties. Fedor Babenkov, the head of Temryuk district, where the port is located, has stated on his official Telegram channel that there are currently 12 fire brigades and 3 ambulance brigades working at the scene.

He stated that the targeted ship had been carrying 30 fuel tanks.

According to the Krasnodar Operational Headquarters Telegram channel, over 100 people are involved in extinguishing the blaze, as well as 34 units of equipment; these include 43 people and 13 units of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
