The suspect armed with a knife and an axe has injured five people in Eskisehir, Türkiye

An attacker dressed in a black helmet and armed with a knife and an axe stabbed at least 5 people in a public park’s tea garden in Eskisehir, Türkiye, Anadolu news agency reported on Monday.

The attacker attempted to flee the scene but was neutralized and detained by law enforcement officers. After paramedics were notified that the police had apprehended the suspect, they arrived at the scene and evacuated the 5 wounded to a local hospital.

Two of the injured are reportedly in life-threatening condition.

In a video circulating on social media, the suspect can be seen wearing a black helmet, goggles, a black mask with a skull motif, and a black plate carrier vest adorned with a black sun swastika symbol.
